Meet Nathan Draper – Founder & Lead Heat Pump Engineer
Nathan Draper is the founder and lead engineer behind Therma-Dynamics Ltd. His journey into air source heat pumps began in 2016 when he became Mitsubishi Electric UK’s first employed domestic site services heating engineer, providing technical support on the Ecodan range. During this time, he developed deep technical knowledge and real-world diagnostic expertise working directly with installed systems.
In 2019, Nathan moved into Mitsubishi Electric’s manufacturing quality department as a Technical Services Quality Engineer, where he ensured UK manufacturing standards were met and carried out component quality testing. This role strengthened his understanding of how systems are designed, built, and engineered to perform.
He later joined LG Electronics UK’s Air Solutions division in 2022 as Lead Technical Support Engineer for the Therma V range, supporting installers and service engineers nationwide. Working alongside some of the industry’s most knowledgeable professionals refined his advanced troubleshooting skills and product expertise.
In 2025, Nathan founded Therma-Dynamics Ltd with a single goal: to provide homeowners with reliable, knowledgeable aftercare and specialist support that is often missing once systems are installed.
Why Therma-Dynamics Exists
Through years of supporting manufacturers and installers, Nathan saw a growing problem: many homeowners were left without experienced engineers willing to maintain or optimise their systems long-term.
This often resulted in:

- Unresolved faults
- Lack of understanding about how to run systems properly
- Homes without reliable heating or hot water
Therma-Dynamics Ltd was created to close that gap, delivering expert diagnostics, honest advice, and dependable long-term support.
